Primary Resource Centre
A big thank you to Martina Kaupp-Roberts
After five years of uncounted hours voluntarily work for the Primary Resource Centre Martina Kaupp-Roberts retired from her position as Primary Resource Centre Co-ordinator on July 3rd.

The Primary Resource Centre was founded in spring 2002 by Martina Kaupp-Roberts and is strongly supported by Ms Boyle.
The idea behind the Centre is to act as Language Resource to support pupils, parents and teachers in the Primary.
The Primary Resource Centre now holds a good collection of materials in Dutch, English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. We have been able to add to these on an annual basis thanks to generous donations by the Primary Department and by parents.
Everyone is welcome, parents and teachers alike are free to browse. In order to borrow books or videos or other media, parents will need to join the Primary Resource Centre. Materials can then be borrowed free of charge for a period of two weeks and renewed for a further 2 week. After this period we fine 50p / week / item to help us buying new material.
We are looking forward to seeing you on a Tuesday afternoon
Claudia Halbach and Jutta Weber (Co-ordinator)
Location: The Centre is located in Room 84 in the Hostel Block.
Opening times: Tuesday 14.50 – 15.35
This project got off the ground in spring 2002 when CESPA donated £6,000 to provide materials such as books, audiotapes, videotapes, DVDs, CD-ROMs, board games etc. The idea was to establish a language resource centre, which would support pupils, teachers and parents in the Primary School, across all language sections. It has been a most successful venture thanks to the brilliant collaboration between school management, teaching staff, the Secondary School Librarian and parents.
