The European School Book Club!
What about European hours for Parents?
Besides activities offered by CESPA, the Book Club can be an opportunity for Mums and Dads
from all sections to share a common hobby while bringing the specificity of their respective cultural background.
Every person in turn proposes a book that either he has already read and liked, or about which he heard or read an interesting review. It is usually a recent book, but it can be a classic as well, there’s no strict rule.
The great thing is that you get to read books you’d never looked at, or from authors you’ve never heard of. Being from different countries is a real bonus for all of us to see a given subject from another perspective.
Where and When?
The meetings take place at one of our houses, not far from the school, from 1.30 to 3pm, so we arrive at school on time.
