The evening will be a ticket only event for up to 150 - 200 guests (contact florencedarby@talktalk.net ), and will include the following: African Drummers upon arrival Music by the "breath-taking" Oxford Gospel Choir Superb prizes for an exclusive Auction (including a VIP Racing Day; 4 day Wine Tasting Course; signed Tennis Racket from Tim Henman; wire Sculpture by Rachel Ducker; "African Mask" painting by Marie Boyle etc) Bill Heine - the DJ from BBC Radio Oxford will be the Master of Ceremonies Other guests include the Lord Mayor of Oxford, the Chair of LARK, Oxfam's Director of Campaigns and Policy, who will speak about "childhood" The director of the Pegasus Theatre will perform some of his own work in the Lecture Room Other African artists will also perform in the Lecture Room There will also be a Silent Auction with, amongst other prizes, a number of signed books by local authors Guided Tours of the Museum and a "Treasure Hunt" will be in the Programme There will be a short Video and Display material about LARK and the Rescue Centre in the Lecture Room / Entrance Wine, including pink champagne, will be provided and served all evening by Rob and his team from the Summertown Wine Cafe "Petits Fours" are to be provided by Herve Gatineau Raymond Blanc will provide some savoury canapes An event like this at the famous Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford is very rare and exclusive - don't miss it!
